Government agent Morgan Miller, transformed into a mutant by his scientist father, must battle other super-powered beings. Silver Star learns of the existence of his enemy, Darius Drumm, an early subject of his father's experiments who has the ability to warp reality. Published in 1958. Not listed in Overstreet as of 2003 edition. Spaceman Discovers Christmas. Standard comic dimensions of 7-1/24-in. x 10-1/4-in., 20 pages including covers. Distributed by Ben Franklin Stores (and possibly other retailers). Rather than pages of product promotion, the complete comic is the story of a space alien named J.B. Grook who lands in his flying saucer and is escourted around town learning about what Christmas is all about (not a religious comic, rather giving to others, etc.). Produced by Will Eisner's commercial studio, Promotional Publications, with art by and/or supervised by Eisner, creator of the Spirit. The story itself is just offbeat enough to remind you of a SPIRIT tale. Really nice stuff.
