Cover by Joe Kubert. Stories and art by Joe Kubert, Mort Meskin and Norman Maurer. Comics legend Joe Kubert won fans early in his career with his tales of Tor, a caveman struggling for survival in a world where humans co-exist with dinosaurs. Tor and his prehistoric world struggle to survive a devastating drought. When the Lizard Men attack Tor's badly outnumbered tribe, he has one chance to prevent them all from becoming slaves. Tor helps a tribe battle a wolf-pack, in a story featuring a terrific opening two-page spread by Kubert. Co-creators Joe Kubert and Norman Maurer put themselves into the comic to discuss "The Human Element" in Tor. Plus full-page dinosaur illustrations by Kubert. And an ad for the "Scholart Institute," one of Kubert's first attempts at comics art instruction, preceding the Joe Kubert School by two decades. Red Death!; Last Chance!; Great Wolf!; The Sea; History of Prehistoric Animals: Struthiomimus, Pachycephalosaurus; Danny Dreams. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
