    "Mask" Guest-starring Wolverine. Story by Jim Owsley. Art by Steve Geiger and Art Nichols. The story opens at the funeral of Ned Leeds (aka the Hobgoblin). Peter Parker's life is in turmoil as he contemplates giving up being Spider-Man. Wolverine finds Peter and tries to convince him to do otherwise. The heroes join forces to battle a street gang and also have a brief encounter with the new Hobgoblin (aka Jason Macendale). Meanwhile, the Rose's criminal empire is crumbling all around him.
