Volume 1 - 1st printing. "Yakari and Great Eagle!" By Job and Derib. Translated by Erica Jeffrey. Yakari is a happy Sioux child; courageous and generous, who is endowed with the power of speaking and understanding the language of all animals. Volume 2 - 1st printing. "Yakari and the White Buffalo!" By Job and Derib. Yakari and Little Thunder set off to look for the buffalo herd led by the White Buffalo. After crossing a scorching desert and scaling a wall of rocks, he becomes the first human to discover the secret grazing land of the herd. Volume 3 - 1st printing. "Yakari and the Beavers!" By Job and Derib. Yakari discovers a colony of beavers busy building their dam. There we find Thousand-mouths, the short-tempered building site boss; Wooden-Dam, the smiling old wise man; Wooden-Bed, the sleepyhead; Double-Tooth, the eternally inspired sculptor... and last but not least Little Linden Tree, a lively kid. While they are bathing, this infernal little beaver disappears. Yakari will find him exploring the underground waterways of the river.
