Cover by Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio. Stories and art by Denny ONeil, Melonius Thunk, Pat Boyette, and Jim Aparo. Sci-fi and super-heroics from Charlton Comics. A flying saucer ends a longstanding mountain-family feud and heals a dying boy. (The hilariously pen-named artist for this story, "Melonius Thunk," may actually be Norman Nodel.) Paul Mann, the new protagonist of "Space Adventures," gets help from an alien when a spy threatens to steal germ-warfare secrets. The alien then reveals himself to be from the future, seeking Paul's help in preventing a future war, in a story with early art by future Batman artist Jim Aparo. The entire issue is written by legendary comics scribe Denny O'Neil, billed as " Sergius O'Shaughnessy." Healers from Nowhere; The Plague; The Secret of the Saucer. Final issue of the series; followed by Space Adventures (1967 2nd series) less than a year later. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.12.
