Copyrighted by WM. H. Lee, 1900. Unidentified later edition (3rd?). The word "Drummer" is 19th Century American slang for a traveling salesman (who would drum/knock at your door). Drummers were well known for telling jokes to clients, with the aim of becoming their friend in order to sell to them. All Drummer's Yarns consists of jokes, funny stories, etc., with this book also having cartooning on virtually every page. This is a 116 page edition (a 32 page booklet of the same title exists) and is one of a larger group of comic booklets generally referred to as Drummer's Yarns. Softcover paperback, 5 1/4" x 7 3/8", b&w, 116 pages.
