A scheme to swindle Tess Truehearts mother sets Tracy against Broadway Bates. Then, the search for a kidnapped boy leads Tracy to fugitive gangster Big Boy and an undercover mission on a cruise ship. Tracys dangerous final showdown with Big Boy aboard the cruise ship; Then, Tracys pursuit of the forger Alec Penn involves the first of the strips famous death-traps, ending with Tracy fighting a bear, an unresolved cliffhanger (as this was the final issue). The only issue of the series that was not squarebound. 48 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.95.
