Stories and art by Hal Chambers, Joe Beck, and Al Camy. An early comics anthology featuring humor and funny-animal stories. Tubby Pig encounters a "black market" during rationing, an indicator of the WWII era, when this story was probably created. The Squat Car Squad meets Stupid Man, a superhero who wears a red union suit and an outfit much like Super Goof's. Cap'n Grim tells the boys the legend of the phantom ship the Southern Belle. Plus an article about inspiring people who faced physical disabilities that gives a window into the disability rights of its era. Another, stranger piece offers advice on "How to Make a Machine-Gun"! Anybody's Guess!; Tubby Pig; Joe Blow; Hurdling Handicaps; Sport Notes; Squat Car Squad; How to Make a Machine-Gun; Karat Kaye; Debunker; Cap'n Grim; Yellowjacket Bee Stings; 1/2 Chief Poke-in-Nose. 48 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
