Pioneering comics publisher David McKay presents an anthology series featuring kids comics, starring those eternal rapscallions, the Katzenjammer Kids. The original German Bart Simpson x2, the Kids are up to constant mischief, usually directed against the stern authority figures in their lives: their long-suffering Mama, Der Captain (a stranded sailor and their surrogate father), and the schools envoy, Der Inspector. These stories are original to the comic, not reprints from the comic strip. The Kids create a phony sea monster to torment Mama; Der Captain trains a monkey to do his chores for him, but the Kids decide to liberate the chimp. The Katzenjammer Kids; A Goodnight Story; Monkey See Monkey Do. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
