Sky Wizard, the world's greatest inventor, creates an enormous flying island, but when his pilot Captain Dare is kidnapped by the Tibetan supervillain the Unholy One, he uses his inventions to gain superhuman strength and set out in pursuit. Experimental "perpetual life rays" give Dash Dixon superpowers, which he uses to fight crime. Steve Oakes becomes the Masked Angel to catch the gangsters who killed his father, and winds up hunted by crooks and cops alike.
