This series takes off with super-charged battling adventures of a group of kids and their unique, high performance pet robots (a.k.a. Medabots). Fueled with artificial intelligence and a specialized arsenal of unique weapons, Medabots compete against each other in exciting Robattles. Ikki dreams of becoming a champion Medafighter and competing in the World Robattle Tournament. But first, he has to get a Medabot. Ikki eventually does manage to get his own Medabot, but Metabee is a ten-year-old model and hardly listens to a thing Ikki says.
