Created by Gilbert Del Toro, written by Mario Cimadevilla, art by Juan Alcantara. In this title, an old man tells a story to his grandson on a lazy, summer night. When he was a teenager, in Chicago in 1997, he gathered his friends: Kent, Stuey, Troy, Tony, Cody, and Natasha, at his home while his parents were gone. Bored, the gang visits McDuffies junkyard as a lark. They adopt a junkyard dog, that they then have to save from Chicagos meanest and cruelest dogcatcher, Big Bubba. The gang—and the dog—lead Big Bubba on a rollicking chase throughout Chicagos streets and tunnels. When they find themselves trapped in a dead-end tunnel, they encounter a talking rat that transforms itself into a man! The whole gang is about to find enough danger and adventure to entertain them for the rest of the summer… 32 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.00.
