Written by PAUL JENKINS Pencils by RAMON BACHS Cover by STUART IMMONEN. House of M has changed the world forever. Now, from the ashes of this cataclysmic event comes a new generation...GENERATION M. Find out exactly HOW things have changed as a group of mutants brought together by this common tragedy must fight together for a better tomorrow. FURTHER COMMENTARY FROM LONE STAR"S AARON SETTLE: The aftermath of House of M has been playing out in various X-books for the last several weeks. And while many of them have been good reads, none of them have really been able to make the tragedy seem real. That changed last week with Generation M.. Part of the power of the story may come from the fact that the main character is not a familiar character or a mutant. The story is told from the point of view of Sally Floyd, a journalist who has felt her life crumble beneath her after suffering through a personal tragedy. As Sally tries to put her life back together she latches on the shared tragedy of the mutant community and feels a compelling desire to tell their stories to the masses. Sally's first article is about the former X-Men Chamber and the chilling repercussions of what losing his powers meant. As Sally tells the stories of the former mutants she attracts the attention of someone else who has taken notice of the now defenseless mutants. The cliffhanger ending is great and packs the same emotional wallop as some of the earlier sequences in the book. If you're enjoying the aftermath of House of M don't forget to grab Generation M. Even if you do not love the new status quo of the Marvel Universe give Generation M a try, it may change your mind. Cover price $2.99.
