The Dutch Boy's Hobby: A Paint Book for Girls and Boys (1926), is a promotional mini comic book published by the National Lead Co. The first eight pages of this booklet tell the story of how Booby and his hobby defeated the pirate General Trouble. Included are color illustration and B&W illustrations for children to color. The second half of this booklet is a mini-comic within a comic. You are instructed to tear off the mini booklet and fold it in half to form the comic book. It was meant as a gift for your parents.
