The Crossing (epilogue) - "Age of Innocence" Guest-starring the Avengers. Script by Terry Kavanagh. Pencils by Hector Collazo and Al Rio. Inks by Ralph Cabrera and Rene Micheletti. Wraparound cover by Hector Collazo and Ralph Cabrera. Story continues from Avengers 395. The Crossing is over. But the damage done has been catastrophic. Tony Stark (of Earth-616), one of the founding members of the Avengers, is dead. And the 19-year old Tony Stark (of Earth-96020) is in the hospital barely clinging to life in a comatose state. After Earth's Mightiest Heroes depart the medical center; Jarvis, Pepper Potts, and Happy Hogan take up the vigil at Tony's bedside. While the trio keeps watch, they reminiscence about happier times with their former boss and friend. Will medical science alone be enough to save young Tony? Or will it take something from inside the heart and mind of the future golden avenger? Appearances by Madame Masque and Marianne Rodgers. Avengers Lineup: Beast, Black Panther, Black Widow, Captain America, Crystal, Deathcry, Giant-Man, Hawkeye, Hercules, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Thor, and the Vision. (Notes: The new Tony Stark (aka Teen Tony) appears next in Iron Man 326. This one-shot was reprinted in 2012 in the hardcover: Avengers The Crossing Omnibus.) 32 pages. Cover price $2.50.
