"The Star Brand!" Story by Jim Shooter. Art by John Romita, Jr. And Al Williamson. It's a world not unlike our own. Words like paranormal or super-hero are euphemisms only used in comic books and movies. That is until the White Event! In one blinding moment the landscape of the universe changed. Welcome to the New Universe. Life for Kenneth Connell, an extreme sports enthusiast, changed the night he met...The Old Man. After a brief encounter and black-out, Ken awakens with a strange "Brand" on his hand. It's a Brand that will forever change his life. 32 pages, FC. NOTE: This series can best be summed up by the presage that serves as both prologue and epilogue for the series - "There is a weapon in the universe more powerful than all others. No more coveted, feared, loved, or hated thing exists. Only a fool or madman - or the right man - would dare possess the Star Brand!" - Odinson, Lonestar Comics Archivist Cover price $0.75.
