Six women have died from what appears to be spontaneous human combustion. All are sixty-two years old, widowed, and recent immigrants from India. Sounds like an X-File. Shortly after Scully and Mulder begin investigating, a seventh woman survives what seems to be an attack from a cloud of smoke. She relates an amazing story. Back in India she was a member of a cult that expected women to burn themselves alive if their husbands died.
