So to get his mind off his troubles, Peter walks to Queens to visit his Aunt May. And thank goodness he does! Because May Parker has been taken hostage by the Beetle while grocery shopping! The web-slinger is horrified that his aunt is in danger! And he makes a beeline to the grocery store -- for a very personal fight against the belligerent Beetle! Retelling of Spider-Man's origin. Cameo appearances by Betty Brant and Anna Watson. (Notes: This issue features a full-page panel of Spider-Man encircled by eight of his greatest foes.
