Dell's classic funny-animal series included early work by former Disney animator Walt Kelly, creator of beloved comic strip Pogo. In an early Pogo story by Kelly, a jive-talking Jersey mosquito lands in Pogo's swamp, and his name is Citronella Jones. (Pogo introduces himself as Ponce de Leon Montgomery County Alabama Georgia Beauregard Possum.) In another Kelly story, Uncle Wiggily catches a fish in his hat.
