Pre-Code horror from St. John featuring nice art by comics legend Joe Kubert and Enrico Bagnoli. St. John was a pioneer in 3-D comics during the original 3-D craze of the 1950s. Aspiring painter Henry makes a deal with the devil after he purchases a cursed painting, in a story with early art by comics legend Joe Kubert. In another Kubert story, robbers commit murder while fleeing police, then are pursued by the murdered man's spirit. A violinist falls under the spell of a cursed Stradivarius.
