    Death of Captain Stacy in "And Death Shall Come!" Part 3 of 3. Script by Stan Lee. Pencils by Gil Kane. Inks by John Romita. Cover by Gil Kane and John Romita. It's the third and final showdown between Doctor Octopus and the Amazing Spider-Man...in just as many days! However this time thewall-crawler has a special surprise for Doc Ock -- that might foul up his control of his mechanical arms! When the web-slinger and Dr. Octopus meet again in a rooftop clash, a crowd gathers below. Tragically, Doc Ock knocks the chimney off the roof...and it falls toward a young boy! However inheroic fashion, Captain Stacy saves the boy, but at a terrible cost to himself. Spider-Man rushes to help Gwen's father, but Captain Stacy's fate has been sealed. A sorrowful ending for all. Cameo appearances by GwenStacy and Harry Osborn. (Notes: This Lee-Kane-Romita masterpiece was reprinted in Marvel Tales #71. The Spider-Man Death & Destiny (2000) limited series (by Lee Weeks) expands upon the aftermath of Captain Stacy's death.) 36 pages. Cover price $0.15.

"Only I Know When the World Will End!!!", art by Don Heck; A derelict claims to be from another world and says that another planet will collide with Earth within days, but he is believed mad. "I Fought the Man Who Couldn't Be Killed," art by Sol Brodsky; A criminal escapes from prison in 1969 after 10 years and robs a warehouse; He is found by a police officer with superhuman powers. "Mummex---King of the Mummies!", art by Don Heck; An archaeologist finds a giant mummy in the Egyptian desert; It rises and searches the tombs and museums of the area, examining several mummies before returning into the desert. 68 pgs., full color. "The Prisoner - the Power - and - Dr. Doom!", script by Stan Lee, pencils by John Buscema and John Romita (p 14, panels 2-5 and p 18, panels 5 and 6, Don Blake figures), inks by Joe Sinnott; Thor is patrolling the city when he happens upon a young girl protesting Latverian oppression outside the Latverian embassy; The protest ends up inciting a riot between people who are for and against the young girls cause and the end result is that the girl gets injured; Thinking that this is more of a job for Donald Blake, Thor changes into his mortal guise and tries to get to the girls aid, however he finds that the mood is in too much of a frenzy and changes into Thor once more, scaring them all over; Changing into Thor once again, Blake makes his escape from where he's held in a dungeon and rounds back to attack Doom's castle; Detecting Thor's approach, Doom launches a stalker missile that locks onto Thor; To Thor's horror he realizes that he has two choices: Let the missile hit him, or crash and destroy the village bellow him. 36 pgs., full color. $0.15.
