"And Sudden Death!", art by Jack Keller; Kid Colt is riding across the range and comes across a new settlement and remarks how fast the west is expanding; Not far away is a group of Comanches who have noticed the new settlement and decide to go in and talk to the settlers about sharing their hunting grounds in order to maintain peace. "A Thousand Sinners," art by Jack Keller; Kid Colt is riding along the range when someone tries to take a shot at him; Kid Colt sneaks around and finds that the shooter is a young man and quickly shoots his guns out of the young man's hands; Kid Colt confronts the boy and learns that he is Greg Peterson, and he took a shot at Kid Colt to prove himself to the leader of his gang Jack Brent so he can be a great outlaw. "A Brave Comes Home" text story. They bind him and he asks them if they are crazy. It turns out the body of the man he struck is still in the car's grill. Plus: "The Slave" with art by Ed Winiarski - Sailor Joe Garcy travels to South America to seek his fortune. Discovering that Inca natives traditionally bury their dead with their belongings, he begins robbing crypts in search of riches. During a funeral procession, he disguises himself as an Inca slave to gain access to the burial vault. Once inside however, all of the slaves, including Joe Garcy, are sealed up behind the walls to die.
