"The Meanest Girl in Town"; Veronica is suspicious of a young teen ostensibly collecting for charity; She has no sympathy when the girl is injured, and provokes the police to investigate. "That's Show Biz," pencils by Dan DeCarlo, inks by Bob White; Betty has the lead in a play with gorgeous visiting movie star Rock Bottom; A jealous Veronica spikes Betty's water jug with alum so that she loses her voice, and understudy Veronica replaces her. "Oh, Doctor"; Betty reads a medical encyclopedia, and soon convinces both herself and everyone else that they're suffering strange symptoms. "The Athlete," script by Dick Malmgren, pencils by Dan DeCarlo, inks by Rudy Lapick; Veronica is so impressed with Reggie's athletic accomplishments that Archie tries to match Reggie's performance.
