Early in the transformation of comic strips to comic books, United Features Syndicate published Comics on Parade as a showcase for its most popular strips, including Tarzan, Li'l Abner and Nancy. Rokoff may hate Tarzan, but it's Sheeta the panther he really needs to worry about, in the adaptation of The Beasts of Tarzan with art by Rex Maxon. Alice meets the flowers, but they're not impressed. Becky finally tells Slats that he's the one she really loves.
