Federal agents go undercover in gold-rush town Cripple Creek to discover who is smuggling gold out of the country. They learn that the gold is being disguised as lead for export. "Love and Lucy Walker!" with art by Jay Scott Pike - At her 18th birthday party, Lucy turns down every boy who asks her out because "they're not my type!" Encouraged by her mother, Lucy finally does date boys, but finds "no happiness or satisfaction with any of them," and never dates a boy more than once. Finally, she meets Walt, who won't give up, and love blooms. Plus: "One Man Too Many" - Sally dates Tom, who runs a small charter airline, but he's very busy with his business. She turns her attentions to Tom's pilot Andy instead. However, when Andy refuses to fly medical supplies to a disaster area, Tom fires him and goes himself. Sally realises Tom is the better of the two men. Also: "Female" with inks by George Klein - Raised by her widowed father to succeed in "a mans world," Louise excels at sports and gets her degree in engineering. She then becomes a partner in her father's factory. Louise falls for plant doctor Ronald, but fears she'll disappoint her father if she gets married. However, when a little girl is injured in the plant, Louise realises she'll never have a child of her own if she puts business before romance. She calls her father and resigns, and will marry Ronald. And: "Come Back, My Love" with pencils by Jay Scott Pike - Karen is loved by aspiring poet Quentin and garage owner Tom, but can't decide between them. Quentin moves to New York and asks Karen to wait for him. Months go by and Karen hears nothing: she tells Tom she'll wait forever, or until she learns Quentin doesn't love her. Quentin shows up and is now "rude, self-centered, and a boor!" and claims he doesn't love Karen. It turns out Quentin is a failure and didn't want Karen to know, because he still loves her. Tom unselfishly convinced him to return, but Quentin put on an act so she'd drop him. Karen realises Tom's the one she loves. Issue also has 2-page text story "Best Choice." 32 pages, full color.
