Deputy Dawg meets Mischa Mouse, whose strange accent and attitudes suggest he's from another country, or possibly another planet. Silly Sidney the elephant tries to get some of the other jungle animals to play games with him, but they're all busy doing jungle things. Dinky Duck wants to be a rock & roll singer, so his fairy godmother grants him the ability to sing like that famous rock star, Melvis Pestley. Vol. 14 #42 -Aug. 1960. Science Fantasy, which later became Impulse and then SF Impulse, was a UK published science-fiction and fantasy digest that began production in the Summer of 1950 and was distributed by Nova Publications as a companion to Nova's New Worlds. When Nova went out of business in early 1964, The title was changed to Impulse in early 1966, to little avail, and then changed once more to SF Impulse for the last few issues. Science Fantasy ceased publication the following year, after the printer went bankrupt. Edited by John Carnell. Stories by John Brunner, Thomas Burnett Swann, J.T. McIntosh.
