Picture Play Magazine, originally titled Picture-Play Weekly was an American weekly published magazine centered around the movie industry during the golden-age of Hollywood. It was one of the earliest published tabloid style magazines that focused on celebrity gossip, but also included behind-the-scenes content, and movie reviews. It was first published on April 10, 1915, and ultimately transitioned from a weekly to a monthly publication before the end of it's production run in late 1941 after merging with Charm Magazine. Cover price $0.25.

Supermind and Son were listed in Jon Morris's 2015 book The League of Regrettable Superheroes. The Voice gets a message in a bottle from Harry Boyd, held captive by "foreign agents" on a remote island in the Caribbean. The Masked Pilot and Tom invade the stronghold of "land-grabber" Hogson McGreedy after it is revealed he "chiseled American defense money," in a cautionary tale. Another classic cover, possibly by Ralph Carlson.
