Fritzi was later known as "Aunt Fritzi" in the Nancy comic strip. Fritzi and Phil have a picnic encounter with some hungry hobos. One of the backup strips in the comic is Charles Schulz's Peanuts, then only in its fourth year; 2 daily and 2 Sunday strips are presented in full color. Snoopy earns a spot on the kids' baseball team when he tags Charlie Brown "out." It's Sadie Hawkins Day, in a Li'l Abner storyline with an "Orson Wells" cameo. Despite the US affiliation in the title, this was an original war comic from Canadian publisher Superior, with early issues focused on the then-current Korean War. The Brant brothers are twins in both looks and flying ability, and when trouble comes, it comes for both of them. Ace pilot Johnny Anger is in hot water after he strafes enemy soldiers hiding out in a Buddhist temple. When Clay and Pete contend for the same woman, the rivalry carries over into their air missions, where they depend on each other to stay alive.
