In "Simon Garth Lives Again," "A Day In the Life of a Dead Man," and "The Second Death Around," with a sacrifice by Priestess Layla, the zombie curse is lifted for 24 hours and Simon Garth, now human, has a chance to amend some wrongs in his life. Script by Tony Isabella and Chris Claremont and art by Virgilio Redondo, Yong Montano, Alfredo Alcala, Rong Wilson, and Pablo Marcos. Issue also has "Herbie the Liar Said It Wouldn't Hurt."
