In the 1990s, Dimitri "Jim" Hanos published an assortment of pulp reprints in a small format with color covers. These were released with print runs of 200 or less. This issue features "The Black Bat's Spy Trail" by G. Wayman Jones from the January 1940 (Vol. 10 #2) issue of Black Book Detective. This is reprinted using the original pulp pages and therefore has very small type because of the reduced format. 4 3/4-in. x 7-in., 88 pages, black and white. Cover price $2.00.
