A tale of gothic horror from Fox Feature Syndicate. Numbering continues from Women in Love (1949-50 Fox) #4. In an issue-length tale, vampiric Count Rorret makes beautiful maiden Elthena his undead slave, by tricking her into believing she can live eternally with the commoner she loves. But the scheme is Rorret's undoing when her lover Leopold refuses to play along. Fairly mild for a pre-Code horror comic, except for the vampires turning into gigantic black tarantulas when they attack their prey. The Black Tarantula; The Ghost Who Cried. 36 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
