Whitman edition. Painted cover by George Wilson. Stories and art by Arnold Drake and Jack Abel. In a post-apocalyptic world, the hero Samson battles futuristic technology and monstrous mutated creatures. Samson and his friends are captured by a tribe living in the ruins of the Macy's department store. Mindor makes use of the store's leftover technology, angering the tribe's "shaman." Then Terra of Jerz shows up, and the fight truly begins. The Macy's parade balloons (in particular, Bullwinkle J. Moose) play a role in the storyline. Wacky painted cover by George Wilson. The Balloon Gods; Mindor Is a Wizard!; Mind Over Magic! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.25.
