Edited by Dez Skinn of Warrior fame, House of Hammer presented comics adaptations and articles based on Hammer Films' legendary horror movies, featuring an array of British comics talent early in their careers. A comics adaptation of Hammer's second Quatermass adventure, 1957 Hammer Productions film Quatermass 2, aka Enemy From Space. Quatermass realizes a meteor shower is the leading edge of an alien invasion, featuring art by future V for Vendetta artist David Lloyd. In a Terror Tales short, a kindly old lady is a killer, in a story with early work by future Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons, credited as "Dave G. Chester." (The presence of both Lloyd and Gibbons makes the issue something of a rarity for Alan Moore fans.) A retrospective of the 1950s 3-D craze. Plus a history and filmography of the Hammer film studio, continued from the previous issue. Final issue published by Top Sellers/ Thorpe & Porter; Quality took over publishing with the next issue.
