Clean-Up featuring Petroleum Pete (1930 Circa) sports an unusual format; folded it measures just 6-in.x 4-in., but it unfolds to 48-in. x 4-in. -- four FEET long. One side is told in comic/cartoon style ad tells how oil is discovered, drilled, refined and brought to market. Includes a lot of interesting facts. For example, in 1930 the United States consumed three-fourths of the world's oil, and produced about two-thirds. In fact, Texas, Oklahoma, California and Kansas, the largest oil producing states, then produced more oil than all foreign countries combined. The second side of this cool little comic deals with petroleum industry issues and concerns such as excessive taxation (so what else is new!).
