Originally presented in Marvel Team-Up (1972-1985 1st Series) #63. "Night of the Dragon" Part 1 of 2. Guest-starring Iron Fist and Misty Knight. Written by Chris Claremont. Art by John Byrne and Dave Hunt. Cover pencils by Mark Bright. While Peter Parker is inside Rand Manor shooting a photo-spread for the Daily Bugle, Danny Rand receives a written challenge from the Steel Serpent for a duel to the death! When Iron Fist abruptly cancels the photo shoot, Peter becomes suspicious that something is wrong. Meanwhile, Misty Knight, who is currently working undercover, learns from Bushmaster that the site of the showdown is Inwood Park. And amidst the gentle trees overlooking the Hudson River, Iron Fist and the powerful Steel Serpent wage a savage fight for survival! Unfortunately, though, the battle goes poorly for the Living Weapon. Will Spider-Man and Misty Knight arrive at the park in time to help him...or mourn him? Includes a 5-page future Hercules back-up tale by Bob Layton. 32 pages, FC. Cover price $0.75.
