"War of the Cosmic Avenger," script by Bob Haney, art by Win Mortimer; The Time Commander has returned to plague Batman once more, using a near indestructible iron bat harness to trap the Caped Crusader, leading him to summon Green Lantern for help; The Time Commander then gets a hold of the iron bat harness and siphons the energy from Green Lantern's ring that was absorbed by it and uses it to create a device to recreate a creature named Cosmos, created by a Dr. Carruthers, but destroyed thereafter because of its evil nature; Time Commander then sends the creature against Batman and the Green Lantern.
