    First issue marked "Collector's Edition" on cover. Features in this issue include: "Dear Monster" (which includes a letter by future genre expert Bill Warren); a preview and plot synopsis of Dr. Cyclops; "Mad Labs" (pictures of mad doctors in their labs); and more. There's a photo inside of Editor Forrest J Ackerman with Nancy Reagan (who starred in Dr. Cyclops). Painted cover by Albert Nuetzell is of television horror host Zacherley. Between 100-200 copies of Famous Monsters of Filmland #7 had a "Lucky 7" Stamp near the spine in the margin. This page could be torn out and sent in to Warren Publishing to receive free copies of the magazine for life. 68 pages, B&W. Cover price $0.35.
