The Real McCoys. Cover photo of Walter Brennan. Art by Alex Toth. Four Color is the collective title for Dell's long, irregularly published series of one-shots. This issue is based on the classic TV sitcom The Real McCoys, featuring art by comics legend Alex Toth. The Real McCoys was the first of the "rural" sitcoms that later included The Andy Griffith Show and The Beverly Hillbillies. Grandpa enters his horse in the big race at the county fair, but loses his temper when the horse proves stubborn. Grampa suspects Hassie and her art teacher of hanky-panky, but his joke on them backfires in a major way. Grampa decides to cut his own firewood. Run for the Money; Rembrandt McCoy; The Woodchopper's Fall; Grampa's Fortune; Three Ways Out. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
