    The legendary Gabby Hayes, sidekick of all sidekicks in 1940s Western movies, takes the starring role in this series of mini-comics. They were distributed as a set of 5 for a Quaker Oats mail-in premium, likely published by Fawcett. This was the envelope for the set. Includes a note to the local Postmaster, and artwork of Gabby's face, probably by the same unidentified artist as the Giveaway comics and Fawcett's Gabby Hayes Western series. May or may not have recipient address, postmarks and other markings. 7-in. x 3-in., B&W with Red.

Gabby graduates from his correspondence detective school and gets a disguise kit in the mail, including a scruffy gray beard just like his own.
