    Mrs. Grundy was a short-lived publication that appeared after the end of the American Civil War, intended to replace the original Vanity Fair. Mrs. Grundy ran for 12 issues after being unable to drum up enough subscriptions or funds to continue, so any issues in collectible condition will be exceedingly rare.
