Cover by Malcolm Kildale. Stories and art by Sam Glanzman, Peter Emslie, John Giunta and Malcolm Kildale. Harvey's digest-sized first series paved the way for its formidable comics history, and featured early (and now forgotten) superheroes like Fly-Man and the Clown. Boxer Chip Foster is shrunk to fly-size and sets out to get the crooks who killed his inventor father, becoming Fly-Man. A police commissioner dons clownface and floppy shoes to work outside the law as crimefighter The Clown. The Clown was listed in Jon Morris's 2015 book The League of Regrettable Superheroes. Origin of Spitfire; Crocky Doyle; Origin of the Fly-Man; Origin of the Clown; Buckskin Boys; Gary Morgan; Magician from Bagdad; Rurik the Sea King. 5-in. x 7-in., 100 pages, full color.
