Comic books January 1943

Vintage monthly published magazine with a focus on the film industry as a whole. First published in November of 1930, publication continued through the late 1970s. Priding itself as a source for exclusive behind the scenes stories about filmmaking, Silver Screen also contained a fair amount of articles about celebrities, their relationships, the latest in fashion, and film reviews. Originally published in 1928 as a premium giveaway from the Magnolia (Mobil) Petroleum Company, this is the revised 1943 edition. A collection of Daily comic strips from the pages of the Dallas News covering topics from Texas History.
