Vintage monthly published magazine with a focus on the film industry as a whole. First published in November of 1930, publication continued through the late 1970s. Priding itself as a source for exclusive behind the scenes stories about filmmaking, Silver Screen also contained a fair amount of articles about celebrities, their relationships, the latest in fashion, and film reviews. This is one of our favorite and certainly one of the best the Guardian and the Newsboy Legion covers by the amazing team of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.
