Nina has a bumpy relationship with miner Jay, but a mine collapse that leaves miners trapped puts things in perspective, in a story with art by Bob Powell. Scheming Carol decides that she wants to date wealthy Neil, even if she has to steal him away from another woman to do it. Jean isn't sure if she loves Phil or Bob, so she dates both of them without telling the other, but that can't last forever.
