Story and art by Brian Fies.
Early morning on Monday, October 9, 2017, wildfires burned through Northern California, resulting in 44 fatalities. In addition, 6,200 homes and 8,900 structures and were destroyed. Author Brian Fies's firsthand account of this tragic event is an honest, unflinching depiction of his personal experiences, including losing his house and every possession he and his wife had that didn't fit into the back of their car. In the days that followed, as the fires continued to burn through the area, Brian hastily pulled together A Fire Story and posted it online.
A Fire Story is an honest account of the wildfires that left homes destroyed, families broken, and a community determined to rebuild.

Shy Hunt and the tech team from McAllen Integrations thought it was an easy jobāset up environmental systems for the brand new Hasanova Data Solutions colony, built on the abandoned ruins of a complex known as Charybdis. There are just two problems: the colony belongs to the Iranian state, so diplomacy is strained at best, and the complex is located above a series of hidden caves. Charybdis has a darker history than any could imagine, and its depths harbor deadly secrets. Until their ship can be refueled, the McAllen team is trapped there.
The deeper they dig, the more Shy is convinced there's no one they can believe. When a bizarre ship lands on a nearby island, one of the workers is attacked by a taloned creature, and trust evaporates between the Iranians and Americans. The McAllen integrations crew are imprisoned, accused as spies, but manage to send out a distress signal... to the Colonial Marines.

In "Asterix the Legionary," one of the three classic Asterix graphic novels collected here, Asterix and Obelix do as the Romans do and join the Roman Legion in hopes to get closer to Obelix's big crush in the process. Instead, the troops are sent far from Gaul to North Africa.
Then, in "Asterix and the Chieftain's Shield" with the village chief away, Caesar and his men come to play-and get their hands on a priceless Gaul shield! Asterix must foil their search and protect his village.
Then Asterix heads to Greece to participate in the Olympic games. But how do the Gauls register themselves? As Romans? And is their powerful potion an ancient form of performance enhancers?
It's an international bout for the ages and just when you think you know what to expect in Asterix, the creators Goscinny and Uderzo throw things at you that you never could've imagined.
Hardcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 152 pages, full color.
