"The Conquest of Yellow Fever;" In Cuba in 1900, medical officer Major Walter Reed proves yellow fever is spread by mosquitoes. "Major James H. Howard, Sky-Hunter;" Major James H. Howard flies with the Flying Tigers in China against the Japanese, then transfers to the European Theatre of Operations where he becomes an ace against Nazi aircraft. "Brazil;" Brazil is discovered in 1500 and becomes part of the Portuguese empire, changing hands several times; In 1822 Brazil achieves its independence; During World War II, President Getulio Vargas stands up against a Nazi plot to conquer his country and joins the Allies.
