An early comics anthology focusing on Yellowjacket and other little-known superheroes of the Golden Age. Crime writer and apiarist Vince Harley learns he can control bees, and sets out to battle crime as the (first) superhero named Yellowjacket. Perhaps inspired by Wonder Woman, the Greek goddess Diana returns to Earth to punch out Nazis during World War II. Meanwhile in Manila, Juan Manito becomes the Filipino Kid to resist invading Japanese forces, in a story that may be the work of early Asian-American comics artist (and Green Turtle creator) Chu F. Hing. Plus, the early horror feature Tales of Terror adapts Edgar Allan Poe's The Black Cat.
