This issue was mentioned in the illustrations for the anti-comics classic Seduction of the Innocent. The cops close in on Tony "The Human Cat" after his latest home invasion. The following line from the Human Cat's girlfriend was singled out by Fredric Wertham as "An invitation to learning" in Seduction of the Innocent: "Where ya goin' on a night like dis, Tony? Ya ain't gonna shoot anybody with dat rod, are ya?" Red Keenan's gang goes on a spree of murder and robbery, in a violent story with art by Plastic Man creator Jack Cole.
