By this point, Fight Against Crime was edging away from crime stories to EC-style horror, as these stories demonstrate. Rival ganglords Mike and Toots feud over Mike's casino, but Toots makes a fatal error when he has Mike's gal Robin killed. Murderous thug George marries a wealthy widow and then has her declared insane, but fate has an ironic twist in mind. Stage magician Draco knows his wife and assistant are having an affair and planning his murder, so he arranges a gruesome revenge involving the old sawing-a-lady-in-half trick.
