Untitled story, art by Dick Ayers; Rawhide Kid and his ward Randy Clayton are shut in during a storm when Randy suddenly notices a man standing in front of one of the windows; The Kid goes to the door and greets the man who asks for their help as he is being chased; He explains that he is Russ Howland the lawman for Javlin County and he has been chased by the Briggs brothers of whom he has warrants out for their arrest that will see them in jail for life. "The Last Roundup!", art by Dick Ayers; Witnessing a stampede of cattle, the Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton rush in and manage to stop the herd; They are confronted by the cattle drivers who accuse the Kid of starting the stampede, but when they try to take him by force he shoots the guns out of their hands and tells them his story. "Kid Six-Gun," script by Stan Lee, art by Pete Morisi. "Six Gun Decision!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid has taken Randy into Shotgun City to get his haircut when suddenly bullets start crashing in through the window Looking outside the window, the Rawhide Kid sees two men taking shots at a lone unarmed man. 36 pgs., full color. "Condemned!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid witnesses as Buck Garrett, the ride of the Shasta stage that crashed being taken in as prisoner by Sheriff Ben Yarby; Angry at the idea that Garrett abandoned the coach before it crashed, a mob has gathered outside Shotgun City looking for vigilante justice, but the Rawhide Kid intervenes and holds them back long enough while the sheriff brings him in. "Western Schooner" text story, art by Joe Maneely. "The Renegade Stallion!", art by Dick Ayers; While out riding with Randy Clayton, the Rawhide Kid spots a Pony Express stallion running wild and the two capture it; They then follow its back trail and come across Jim Kendall, the rider of the horse; He tells them that he was attacked by some men, and in order to prevent them from taking his shipment of gold, he sent his horse running. "Miracle on Mesquite Flats!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid rides into Shotgun City where he spots a gunman walking into Dr. Gil Jackson's office; The Kid easily disarms the shooter; The Kid finds that Gil is cryptically light hearted about the attempted robbery, as he is flattered that the masked gunman thought he had any money and tells the Kid to set the man free. "The Gun!", script by Stan Lee, art by Pete Morisi. "The Swamp Phantom!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are investigating the report of the so-called "swamp phantom" who has been trying to keep people out of the swamp that has just been opened up as free land by the government when suddenly they are shot at; The pair dive for cover while the Randy lays out cover fire; the Kid goes around to try and get the drop on the shooters. 36 pgs., full color. "Code of Honor!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid is riding into Shotgun City when he spots a young man named Jimmy Alton just as he appears to be escaping from a bank robbery; As the boy tries to escape, the Kid notices that he is highly skilled in the tricks of the trade, but still manages to capture him and bring him back anyway. "The New Sheriff," art by Joe Maneely. "The Lost Spur!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid and his ward Randy Clayton spot a fire that is raging on Professor Scott's ranch and come to the aid of the Professor's family; They are too late to stop the fire from destroying Scott's home, but the Professor and his family manage to escape; Scott explains to the Rawhide Kid that some masked men burned his home to the ground. "Race Against Time!", art by Dick Ayers; Hearing that Faro James was plotting to rob the Gold Cost Express which was carrying a large sum of gold, the Rawhide Kid races to the train on his horse Apache and jumps aboard; The Kid doesn't know what Faro looks like so he begins provoking other passengers to see if they will reveal themselves as James. "The Texas Gunhawk," script by Stan Lee, art by George Tuska. Untitled story, art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid is riding across the range when he comes across a dead panther and its surviving cub; Unable to see the young panther starve in the wild, the Kid decides to take it back to the ranch, thinking it would make a great surprise for his ward Randy Clayton. 36 pgs., full color. "The Last Warning!", art by Dick Ayers; With a drought hitting Shotgun City water is scarce thanks in part to the Gore Brothers damming up their water so none of it gets to town; When the Rawhide Kid spots the Gore Brothers trying to take water from his trough, the Kid shoots their water bags and forces them off his property, but they vow to get revenge against him. "A Part of the West" text story. "Bullets or Ballots!", art by Dick Ayers; Tippy Cole and his gang try to enter Shotgun City, but the Rawhide Kid is there to block their way, telling them to scram or the sheriff will lock them up; However Tippy, who has studied law, tells the Rawhide Kid that Sheriff Ben Yarby's position as sheriff has expired that day and they don't have a legal sheriff in town. "The Scourge of the Plains!", art by Dick Ayers; The town of Shotgun City is on full alert when the ugly outlaw named Clem Boggs rides into town; When Boggs arrives and begins causing trouble, the Rawhide Kid easily disarms him and berates him based on his looks before sending Clem packing. However while the Rawhide Kid was dealing with Boggs, Randy slipped out the back door. "Outlaw!", art by Bob Bean. "A Vow of Vengeance!", art by Dick Ayers; As the Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are out riding a young man named Billy Tappan tries to take a shot at the Kid, but Randy spots the shooter and quickly ropes him up before he can fire; The sheriff is called in and the young man accuses the Rawhide Kid of rustling his family's cattle and burning down their barn ten years ago. 36 pgs., full color. "The Man Who Couldn't Talk!", art by Dick Ayers; The Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are in Shotgun City when they spot a man tied to a horse near the brink of death with a note pinned to his back; The note reads "This hombre got too nosey and too close" which does not tell them much. "Good Ranch Hand" text story, art by John Severin. "Stampede!", art by Dick Ayers; With a herd of cattle stampeding toward Shotgun City, the Rawhide Kid takes control of the situation; He gets the locals to string a rope across the town's main stream and drapes fabric along the rope; When the cattle get near to town, the Kid and the other locals light the fabric on fire, spooking the cattle away from town; Rounding up the herd they find brands belonging to the Triangle X ranch that is located out in San Pedro. "The Man Who Flaunted the Law!", art by Dick Ayers; Wealthy Jake Bragg is on the rampage in town shooting the place up but he is put down hard by the Rawhide Kid who tries to talk sense into him that he has to contribute his wealth to town, but Bragg refuses and leaves town; The Rawhide Kid then checks in with Ben Yarby, who tells him that Bragg is at the top of the list for people who owe taxes to the town. "The Bushwhacker," script by Don Rico, art by Angelo Torres. "Desperate Decision!", art by Dick Ayers; Clyde Madison is running trouble in town forcing the Rawhide Kid to put a stop to his wild shooting; The Kid takes his guns away but Clyde warns him that he will get revenge, telling the Kid and Sheriff Ben Yarby that his father is the notorious outlaw Blast Madison before he is forced to ride out of town. 36 pgs., full color.
